Marble and Limestone are sedimentary rocks that are generally softer than granites.

These are more suited to use in bathrooms, fireplaces and low volume traffic areas, ie. Residential floors, shower beds and walls. Marble, travertine and limestone have long been valued for their timeless beauty with unique expressive qualities.

It can be used for other applications, however, please be mindful that marble and limestone are more prone to scratching and staining than granite and engineered stone.
