Our Quality

Not all benchtops are created equal

Our Quality – spot the difference!

There are no wooden substrates in our benchtops. Our mitred tops are constructed with solid stone underpacking and supports.

Rebate undermount sinks are standard for solid 30mm jobs. Standard undermount is available if specifically requested.

Breakfast Bar overhangs are polished underneath to honed finish as standard.

Each article is finished by a skilled fabricator, not just despatched straight off a machine. This ensures a superb quality finish.

Jobs are quoted with enough material to achieve all possible vein matches (we can compromise if requested to achieve cost savings).

Join placement is chosen to achieve the best aesthetic result rather than use the least material (please talk to us if you want to consider compromises to achieve cost savings).

We polish the inside of Porcelain waterfall ends to smooth finish. Inside colour is the same as the base colour as the print is only on the face of these products but this means you do not need to fit wooden end panels to the inside of solid 12mm or 20mm porcelain waterfall ends.

We use the best available sealer systems for our natural stone jobs. There are no compromises when it comes to sealing stone.

Fiberglass reinforcing bars are fitted to the underside of natural stone benchtops, to reinforce the stone at it's weakest points.

At Architectural Stone Co we are serious about health & safety. Our state of the art plant, staff training and management systems all contribute to ensuring our team members go home safe at the end of each day. Our plant and management systems are accredited by Worksafe NZ and NZESAG / Impac. We are industry leaders in eliminating the risks of working with respirable crystalline silica.
